We’re hiring a Customer Service Advisor (Inside Sales) to join our Hearst Sales team. This team aims to ensure the growth of sales and margin volumes for Pepco’s different product lines. As a key member of this team, you will deliver an outstanding customer service to new and existing customers and provide support to the outside sales team. Under the general supervision of the Director of Sales, you will be empowered to retain and grow Pepco’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address customers’ inquiries in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues;
  • Provide quotes to customers as per their requests – some research may be required;
  • Process orders and invoices;
  • Assist outside sales advisors as required;
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-ups and outbound calls and emails;
  • Maintain and expand some of Pepco’s key accounts.

Our ideal candidate

  • Bilingual (French and English) mandatory;
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or relevant experience;
  • Inside sales experience in the generation of quotes an asset;
  • General knowledge of industrial products, bearings, and power transmissions and asset;
  • Previous experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP), more specifically Microsoft dynamics, will be considered an asset;
  • MS Office proficiency necessary;/li>
  • Experience negotiating with external vendors;
  • Self-starter and autonomous team member who is highly motivated to succeed;
  • Willingness and ability to learn about all our product lines;
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple priorities;
  • Ability to prepare concise and accurate documentation;
  • Strong communication and active listening skills demonstrated through the ability to foster solid working relationships and understand customers’ needs;
  • Team work and safety-first attitude.
