We’re hiring a Warehouse Attendant to join our Timmins Operations team. This team aims to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum and industrial supplies to our residential and commercial customers across Northern Ontario, including mining sites. Under the general supervision of the Operations Supervisor, you will be empowered to uphold Pepco’s top-quality customer service standards while completing deliveries and supporting the warehouse goal to ensure adequate storage and rotation of stocks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive all goods adhering to existing warehouse practices;
  • Perform all required tasks under Shell Quality Assurance program for lubricants;
  • Prepare loads for shipping ensuring efficient and error-free loading;
  • Deliver supplies orders to customers as dispatched and in a safe and timely manner;
  • Complete daily log documentation for deliveries;
  • Report all near miss, incidents, and accidents immediately to supervisor;
  • Follow all health & safety related policies and procedures related to your role;
  • Assist in inventory counts and complete documentation related to inventory;
  • Any other task deemed necessary and relevant to the position.

Our ideal candidate

  • Valid G Ontario driver’s license required;
  • Valid DZ Ontario driver’s licence would be an asset;
  • Previous experience in moving material in a warehouse will be considered an asset;
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience would be an asset;
  • Clean drivers abstract;
  • Working proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication);
  • Able to lift and carry 20 to 50 lbs.;
  • Maintain body equilibrium, stoop, crouch, reach for and handle objects;
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs;
  • Available to work day shift Monday to Friday;
  • Sound communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to prepare concise and accurate reports;
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, maps and route directions;
  • Team work and safety-first attitude;
  • Outstanding customer service.
